Keeping everyone safe
Currently we're open Monday - Friday from 12 - 6 and Saturdays 12 - 4 for walk-up, in-person shopping.
Teton County is currently experiencing an unprecedented surge in the the spread of COVID-19. The daily case rate and hospitalization rate is at an all-time high.
Because of this, we are considering how best to keep you and our staff safe. That may necessitate a brief closure or return to the "porch pickup only" system we had last spring.
For now we are open, but we ask the following:
• Limit your time in the shop by arriving with a pattern and a plan.
• Leave non-shoppers - like kids, friends and family - at home or in the car.
• Wear a WELL-FITTING mask that covers both your mouth and nose. Please don't touch it or pull it down to talk to us.
We are suspending all classes and knitting help sessions for now, as well as any in-person problem-solving during store hours. Take advantage of online help videos we like by clicking the HELP link at the top right side of this page.
Yep, we hate this too. It breaks our hearts to have to draw these lines -- part of the joy in shopping for yarn is taking the time to browse, and chat about pattern ideas. Let's all do our part to help stem the tide of this virus in our community so we can be back together soon.
We check e-mail every day, and are happy to chat with you! Or give us a call at 307 733-5648 during store hours so we can figure out how to best serve you.
We're happy to accommodate folks who are reluctant to come inside due to COVID-19 concerns. Call or e-mail and we'll make arrangements to leave your purchase for easy "no contact" pickup on the porch.
Knit on Pearl is Jackson Hole's source for yarn, needles and cool tools for knitters and crocheters. We're located just two blocks north and west of the Jackson Hole town square, at the corner of Gill and Glenwood streets. (The shop moved years ago from it's original location on Pearl St. to our current spot at 145 W. Gill) We're open Monday - Saturday, with Knit Night every Thursday from 6 - 8. Scroll down to see what's on tap!
Knit on Pearl started out in a tiny alcove on Pearl Street over 20 years ago in 1997.
We're here to make happy knitters happier!
Knit on Pearl is a small space chock-a-block full of yarns from all over the world, and close to home. We are proud to carry an ample selection of yarn and fiber created by regional artisans around the Rock Mountain West. Here's a list of yarn we carry.
Winters are long in Jackson Hole, and we have a robust community of local knitters and crocheters who wear what they make and make what they wear. Because Jackson is a tourist destination, we are also inspired by yarn enthusiasts who visit from all over the world.
